FarmVille Tips - 4. Neighbors, Trees and Animals

FarmVille is a social networking game - and a major component of the game is adding neighbors. Having a certain amount of neighbors will also allow you to expand your farm. (Check out the Marketplace for how many neighbors you will need).

If you visit or help your neighbors you will get rewarded Exp points as well as coins. Also, your neighbors may give you gifts of animals or trees for helping them out with daily chores like raking, chasing crows and pulling weeds. (If you want to talk to your neighbors, leave them a signpost by clicking the button next to the name of your farm.)

In other words, try visiting or assisting your neighbors before you spend your coins on animals or trees that may come as gifts. You may assist up to 20 neighbors a day.(Also, if you click on the same neighbors farm before the HELP box appears again, you can sometimes get rewarded for assisting them more than just the one time.)

Trees take up a lot of space, but most of them yield more than the animals do - plus they don't wander. Ripe fruit won't wither and spoil and can be sold for some extra coins. They also look pretty. You can gain EXP point from planting a tree you purchased (not a gifted tree). You can also buy a tree, plant it - gain EXP points and then sell it.

You can get a small reward for helping an animal that wanders onto your farm. Plus, when the animals counter reaches 100% - you can collect milk, eggs, wool or whatever they produce to sell for coins. You can send animals and trees to your neighbors as well, it's good karma.
